Adjusters

Thomas M. Everette, Jr. began his career with T. M. Everette Claim Service in 1986 as an auto appraiser and investigator. Due to his interest and experience, he is now considered one of the premier heavy equipment adjusters in the State of Virginia. He is the only member of the National Truck & Heavy Equipment Claims Council in the state and has served on the Board of Directors for NTHECC. Tom, Jr. has testified in numerous cases as an expert witness in insurance matters in both the District and U.S. Federal Courts in the Virginia area. He has the ability and experience to handle the most complicated physical damage, cargo, inland marine and general liability claims that may arise.

Gregory “Van” Everette graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 2000. He joined Everette Claim Service in 2002. Van is highly skilled in handling heavy truck and trailer, garagekeepers, general liability,  casualty and inland marine. Van is also a skilled liability investigator and adjuster. He has been called upon on many occasions  to handle diminished value claims for the insurance industry, including testifying as an expert witness in court. In addition to his experience as a heavy equipment and truck adjuster, Van Everette is also our property general adjuster. Van is also licensed in North Carolina and West Virginia.

Dan Kennedy graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1965 and began his claim career with Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company in their Richmond, VA office. He was promoted to office manager and ultimately claim manager with Fireman’s Fund until they relocated to another state. At that time, 1972 he took a position with Ohio Casualty Company as a large property loss adjuster. He remained with Ohio Casualty until he retired in 2002. Dan has the designation of CPCU. After retirement Dan joined Everette Claim Service handling multi-line claims with emphasis on large property losses.
